Co-Hosts of The Mayo Lab Podcast

The Mayo Lab Podcast enables more action-oriented conversations to give them tips and tools on how to be able to take action in ways beyond a conversation, if necessary.

On The Mayo Lab Podcast, hosts Dr. Meagen Rosenthal and Alexis Lee are joined by a range of guests—including researchers, students, parents, educators and advocates—to discuss student mental health and wellness.

”We laid a really great foundation last season to understand what some of the issues are and why they matter,” says Dr. Rosenthal. “In Season 2, we will focus on what we can do as parents, as educators, as students, and as communities to help make things better for everyone. We are starting big by tackling the issue of stigma, which touches so many different parts of our lives in large and small ways.”

“We are going to examine the different kinds of stigma and how it impacts us and our families through the scientific literature,” Lee says.

Episodes in Season 2 will leave listeners with tangible take-aways so they can feel empowered to make changes now.

In Season 2 of the podcast, we move from talking about the problem and opening the conversation to offering more solutions for parents. We will also dig into what the research and science have to tell us.
