Program Manager

Driven by creating meaningful connections and fostering wellbeing for all people, Alexis combines her business, event, communications and strategic planning experience to create impactful change. As the program manager for The William Magee Institute for Student Wellbeing and The Thomas Hayes Mayo Lab, she manages and participates in the creation, operation and execution of programs, activities and initiatives including producing and co-hosting The Mayo Lab Podcast.

Alexis joined The University of Mississippi in 2019 with University Development. During her time there, she contributed at the intersection of higher education, development and business. She helped to create and establish the Robert C. Khayat Lecture Series along with leading their Legacy 2020 program planning that honored Dolly Parton.

Alexis is a two-time Ole Miss graduate. She graduated in 2019 with a bachelor degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. During her time as an undergraduate student, Alexis was a part of Ole Miss Athletics as an NCAA Scholarship Athlete on the volleyball team, Ole Miss Career Center as an employer engagement and social media assistant, the Ole Miss yearbook as multimedia editor, and the Ole Miss Society for News Design as an active officer. Most recently, she graduated with her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2023. During her time as a graduate student, Alexis served as vice president of recruiting alongside the first all-female cohort of class officers in MBA history and received the 2023 Rebel with A Cause Award.

Passionate about mental health and wellbeing, Alexis combines her expertise in the field with the art of yoga. As a certified 200-hour yoga teacher, she’s on a mission to help others find balance, strength and serenity through the transformative power of yoga.
